Ever wonder how we operate, how we choose our stories, or what our favorite cryptid is? Well, we’ve got just the thing for you! We discussed all that and more in this interview we did with Katie from the Scribbler’s Den!
The Scribbler’s Den is an online writing community that offers courses and workshops with a focus on fantasy and worldbuilding. Katie is the founder and one of their educators (she also has a very cool dog). We originally met Katie at the Youngstown Lit Fest last year and struck up a friendship as the only sff-minded tables at the fest. If you keep an eye on their workshops, you just may see some familiar faces … This interview was a lot of fun! Katie had some great questions for us, and the chat as a whole was just lovely. Consider giving it a watch! :) |

Joel Troutman is not part-fish, but, some days, he wishes he was. Instead he’s a writer and editor from Pittsburgh who makes a living by stocking grocery store shelves. In his precious free time, he has fun writing about ecological androids, buying more stickers than he uses, and drawing fisherman pixel art.
