these animal needs abandoned for mathematical

intricacies and perpetual motion devices

tomorrow when I do not answer even though

this voice is now capable of perfect mechanical pitch

know that I simply do not want to say goodbye to you

Lora Gray, (they/them), is a non-binary speculative fiction writer and poet from Northeast Ohio. They have been published in Uncanny Magazine, F&SF, Strange Horizons, and Asimov's among other places.
